This tissue uses a 70% composition of the finest grade of virgin fiber paper mixed with 30% high-grade recycled content. The virgin fibers provide a soft and absorbent product with high tensile strength that will not tab or tear unnecessarily.
Jumbo tissue saves time, labor, and money. These rolls are changed over 20 times less often than regular tissue rolls. The roll size and the lockable dispensers prevent pilferage. The system is more efficient than conventional systems and prevents overuse. One jumbo roll can be changed in about as quickly as a regular roll of tissue. These are Touchless Systems; meeting maximum hygiene demands.The Jumbo Tissue Concept:
1947 in Sweden, the first jumbo tissue was very coarse and was used by the public only by necessity. This tissue would not be pilfered because of its lack of softness and its size.
When entering the North American market, the European manufacturers remained stubborn insisting the harsh texture of this tissue was a part of its selling feature. So, the product had a very hard time developing acceptance here; in fact, it almost failed as a result of it. Strong marketing teams and perseverance gained a significant market position in the early eighties. This prompted the paper giant Scott Tissue Products to introduce the JRT system and with it a softer version of jumbo tissue in 1988. European producers were finally forced to adapt and many other North American producers also got involved. Now there was no looking back and the jumbo tissue concept took hold.
Today over sixty percent of all businesses are using a jumbo tissue system. And they're using it because it works. |
