The Katrin Floor-Stand dispenser is what we term a "Semi-Portable" dispenser. The unit, with a full roll in it, can weigh over 18 pounds. Its design allows the user to bring it directly to where the task is, but not too close to be obtrusive.
Control of Use Wiper Program
For the best results from a Control of Use shop wiper program with maximum productivity, Papermake recommends that approximately 70% of the dispensers required be assigned as fixed location units (see Tork Wall Mount dispenser or Tork-MB Maxi Barrell). These are to be strategically installed throughout the facility.
The remaining 30% of the dispensers need to be semi-mobile units that can be brought right to a specific job area. Strategic placement and semi-mobile wiper dispensers mean that the wiper program maintains controls over wasteful usage that mobile porto-box wipers can't accomplish because they are too accessible. Being 'too accessible' means that the user is free to grab and throw away product thoughtlessly because the box remains too convenient and at the instant reach of another hand grab. |
